If you are a smoker, save your money and just breathe the air. Not a smoker and you will be by the time you leave.  We like the small cafe, but the buffet is mediocre, not any different from other buffet in any town.  The gaming is not real loose, but there are winners.  Bingo is pretty nice if you like that.  The rooms are no frills and roaches are not rare in the warmer months, mostly outside, but some are crafty buggers that pay the occasional visit.  The pool is salt water and usually great.

I wouldn't give this infested hotel even 1 star but this review site forced me to so I could write a review. This place is an embarrassment to be called a hotel. I have a breathing issue as well as children. The Manager that is working and supervisor had the worst customer service possible. They kept bouncing me all over the place different agents. They had an open room for non-smoking but they wouldn't move me for the night. The Manager said we do not want to cause extra work for the Maids. This horrible establishment sure didn't balk at the money we spent there. When the manager said this I was embarrassed. There is no customer service at this business. Horrible.

I am giving this place 5 stars for the economy, and the delightfully austere room. 

In this age of opulence, and the jacked up prices to support it all, it is super refreshing to find a basic room for a price not seen anywhere else for 20 years ($27). 

Additional conveniences are a monstrous parking lot for oversized vehicles, 24 hour cafe with great food, and mere yards off I-15 so it couldn’t get any better for travelers. 

In addition, for families, there is a pool, large arcade, bowling alley, and probably much more we did not see on our brief stopover. 

We’ve been driving by this place for 9 years now, thinking it’s impossible that the rooms are actually $27 and not “our last $27 room just got taken, but we have this great $54 room”, or some slummy little broom closet in a hooker motel. To our delight, the room was large, squeaky clean, smelled fresh, and the beds comfortable enough for a king. 

The lone negative point was that the top ‘shelf’ of the shower walls (room 7101) have not been dusted for some time, but unless the housekeeping staff are well over 6’ tall, they would not notice that. 

This is one of our our new go-to spots for our semi annual migration stops between SK and AZ. 

Anyone wanting 4 & 5 star amenities for a 1 star price is dreaming, and they need to remember you usually get what you pay for, but in this case, the value for the money is way over the top. 

Great job Virgin River Hotel & Casino. We’ll be back.

I did not enjoy virgin river. First the rooms were priced at $27 on the billboards but when we got there it was $88. When we went to our room after the terrible customer service we found a man peeking into our window when we asked what he was looking for he informed us he was. Maintenance man coming to fix the bath tub. The rooms were old and musty and the floor was tiled like an old school room. The casino didnt pay out ANYTHING. For the $$ we spent I would have much rather drove to Vegas and spent the extra night.  2 good tho vs about it. The buffet was really good and the card dealer Rhonda was super nice and friendly.

For the price, this place is awesome! We were really nervous to stay here. We got such a low nightly rate that we were worried it would be dirty and uncomfortable, but our room was very clean and the beds gave us a great nights rest. The staff was also very friendly and the pool was fun. We would stay here again. They can keep their prices so low because they don’t have very many accommodations in the room. There is no fridge nor microwave and hardly any toiletries. It is just a basic clean room to sleep in.
