i had no issues and my customer service person was outstanding. Not sure why everyone is so hard on the people at the DMV. Hats off to Crystal and the other representatives that do a fantastic job there.

If I could make this a no star review, I would. The lady at the information desk checked my documents before she gave me a number. I waited two hours to get serviced, just for the lady to tell me that I needed an extra document because one of my IDs has my marriage name. Mind you, I have a state issued license from another state WITH my married name, which means that this information has already been previously verified. Why didn't the information desk tell me this when she checked my documents before having me sit there for TWO HOURS?! Oh, before I forget, the lady who finally serviced me was SO RUDE! When I asked her to repeat herself because she was talking so low, she acted as if my request was the end of the world! I will travel to the outermost edge of Virginia before I EVER step foot in this DMV location again.

Very slow movement. Expect 2-3 hours of wait to get your work done even if it's 2min work. Taking a drivers test or learners permit? 4-5 hrs. Good Luck! I wish there were more counters and specific reply for the question asked.

After reading the other reviews, I see my experience is not unique. I thought I brought in all the documents needed. The rude front desk guy didn't bother double checking. Waited an hour for the clerk to tell me I didn't have everything needed. She was also rude and had hostile energy, for NO reason. This was my fourth time coming as well. I hope they shut this DMV down. The employees take pride in making their customers miserable.

If you ever want a glimpse of the very pit of hell, go to this DMV. Not helpful at all, the staff is rude like customer service isn't their job. I had to come back 4 times for the same thing and each time "something comes up" that's out of their hands. Whether it's a transferred ticket number where they end up telling you to wait until your number is called AGAIN only to never call your number or them "losing" emails, this place is a great place to waste your time due to poor management and understaffing.
