Our first time - we decided to get a membership. If you have young children you can definitely spend a whole afternoon there. It's very nice and has plenty of play areas and things for little kids to touch, hear, and play with. We really enjoyed our time there. I wasn't able to go to the planetarium, but I can't wait for the next star party. (When the planetarium and observatory are open at night). Cafe had decent food at good prices. Nice shop with lots of fun things and jewelry.

The living museum never fails to be a fun visit! Plus we always learn something. Their rotating exhibits have been big hits with our 4 year old, especially Wolf to Woof and the current Lego exhibit. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The facilities are clean and the cafe offers yummy, cooked to order food! If you want someplace that will keep the kids entertained for multiple visits and a place the adults will love as well, you just can't go wrong with the VLM.

My family loves this place. We often spend hours in the play vet clinic downstairs. The dinosaur park is another favorite. There is always something to do here rain or shine. From stargazing to gardening they have such fun interactive learning play stations we couldn't ask for more.

Wonderful exhibits here. Some interactive. Great fun for younger kids. Otters, eagles, wolves... Amazing conservation principles and informative signs throughout the museum. The food in the cafeteria is yummy but not good quality ingredients. No organic options and pricey but not exorbitant. Love this place for what it is. Can easily spend 2-3 hours here. Open 9-5. $15 for 3-12, $20 for adults, under 3 are free.

Visited this Museum for the younger siblings after bringing our oldest daughter to CNU. What an amazing surprise! It was hidden off the road, but we just happened to see the sign for Lego display. It was so much bigger than expected and there was a lot of diversity. Indoors, outdoors, lower levels, upper levels, trails, play areas, caves, fish, snakes, swamp, fox, coyote, birds, marsh, and the big dinosaur exhibit at the end was so much fun for the kids. Staff was pleasant, everything was clean. Liked it so much that we purchased a Family Membership and hope to come back again soon! :)
