Was checked in very quickly by excellent admin staff. Was first seen by Jess. She was amazing and thorough. Very professional and skilled. A true pleasure working with her. Then Melanie did a few more things and was just as skilled and personable.  Finally, Dr. Gamble finished up with me and was super nice and competent. On the way out I stopped in the frames department and also had a great experience there, as well.

The phone systems and staff seem very disorganized. It took two days of calling the office in Bangor to make an appointment. I've been going to an optometrist since I was young, and seeing the specialists at Vision Care of Maine for almost two years now. Yet at my last visit, they had no previous records of mine. It is a bit concerning and extremely frustrating to work with their current system.

The accounting department needs a total overhaul.  Check your bills against the insurance payments.  I had SEVERAL amounts that my HMBP Insurance said no payment due according to the provisions of the plan.  .  This  is private insurance (no FREEBEE Obama subsidies)   

They have reduced (corrected one bill) from about 3,000 to 2500. Another from 232 to 132, rude to me and personnel which I witnssed I'm too disgusted to say more, EXCEPT if Dr. Peters ever leaves, will  I find a new Dr.
