I was referred to this office for a consultation regarding a tooth that had become infected after extensive dental work. I called to schedule an consultation to talk about options (repair vs extraction, types of aftercare, etc) and later called to confirm an extraction. The person I spoke with on the phone confirmed a CONSULTATION. I arrived at the appointment for a consultation and then after a brief conversation Dr. Largey began preparing tools. I asked him what was happening and he said that we were scheduled for an extraction that day and that he didn’t understand why I didn’t know that. I explained the conversations that I had with the office staff and he apologized and proceeded with the extraction, which was fine. He did a good job. I was completely unprepared, but it turned out okay. Had I known it was actually going to be an extraction I would have arranged to have the next few days off, but since I didn’t I had to work three 12 hour shifts with the public with an extremely swollen face. Still I chopped it up as a miscommunication even though they made me feel as though it was my fault. The bill I was quoted on the phone for an extraction was approximately $400, but since I opted for an implant that required graft material it ended up being over $1000. I’m fortunate enough to be able to handle that, but most folks aren’t. I was then scheduled for a four month follow up for images to prepare the implant. I called multiple times to confirm the appointment, the receptionist said I had a consultation. After the first incident I asked her for what exactly was going to be occurring and she gave me the details. The day arrives (1/11/18) and I walk in saying I had a 130pm appointment and the receptionist said that they’ve been trying to call me for 5 days, which I called her out on as I had called to confirm the appointment again. She then said I hadn’t been in for 10 years (from my wisdom tooth extraction appointment) which I also called her out on as being incorrect as this was a 4 month follow appointment. The second receptionist also said that my voice mailbox wasn’t set up, which is false. I had updated all of my personal information during my previous appointment, they apparently just lost it. Too long didn’t read: good doctor but poorly run office so they’ve lost me, a fellow health care professional, as a patient and customer.

I had my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Largey yesterday. His staff was kind and professional, and he explained everything to me and made me comfortable before the surgery. Could not have asked for a better outcome. Truly Profesional, almost know pain this morning either. Thank you!

Our daughter had her wisdom teeth extracted at home in CT about 2 weeks before leaving for college in Bangor. After 3 weeks at college in Bangor she had a problem and needed urgent dental care. Being out of state, I had no idea where to send her. I called Dr. Largey and he saw our daughter within 3 hours and his staff was very kind and caring! I would highly recommend this group and am very thankful for the care, time and effort he and his staff put forth for our daughter.

Had 3 wisdom teeth out and stayed awake for it (local anesthesia only), and Dr Largey's professionalism and demeanor put me at ease. He made quick work of things, and I had very little discomfort during the process. Recovery has been quick as well. The front office staff and nurses were also kind and helpful. I highly recommend this office!

Best dental/oral surgery care I have received anywhere; can only wholeheartedly recommend his office and him. "Loved it" is stretching the truth, but will go there when I need to. Wayne Sinclair
