Story

Established in 1960, our company has grown to a full-service independent insurance agency with offices in Bethesda, Columbia, Frederick, Charles Town, WV, Tyson’s Corner, VA and Washington, DC. We are proud to be one of the largest agencies in the Washington D.C.-Baltimore metro area. While being large has never been our goal, we have grown as a result of satisfied customer referrals.

We offer our customers complete insurance programs which include personal, commercial, life, and health insurance. Currently, VW Brown provides insurance services for 28,500 satisfied customers in 48 states and Washington, D.C.

VW Brown has 42 licensed insurance professionals with a combined experience of over 620 years in the insurance industry. More than half of our staff holds at least one specialized insurance designation.
