Reviews
This is a standard W hotel. The staff are generally helpful. Great location on Sunset within walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants. The subway comes out right in front of the hotel making it a quick stop to Universal Studios and the Chinese Theater. Nice rooftop pool. Try to get a room facing the outside of the building or else you'll face the inner parking lot.

The hotel has a great car valet. The reception personal is very friendly and quick to check in. The atmosphere of the lobby is very nice and big. When I was on my floor there was a smell of weed but the smell was not in my room and it was gone by night. The mini bar is full which is nice to have. The location of the hotel is very good. At the check out, it was quick and everything went smooth. I had a great stay at the hotel for few days.

I was attending a pool party at the rooftop of the W, but decided to enjoy a few drinks downstairs at the lobby bar. The bar service was excellent and the cocktails were mixed to perfection. The ambiance of the lobby bar area and adjacent outdoor bar and seating area was very festive. The rooftop was just as incredible with spectacular night time views and excellent service from the staff. Based on my visit, i would highly recommend. Next time i will look at an overnight stay.

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the cheapest rates around... Busy hotel, with rooms that are bright but nothing particularly spectacular. Location will be better when the building work has completed next door, but the hotel is mostly surrounded by cheap stores, and is a taxi ride from anywhere you want to be. The lobby bar is a good place to catch up with friends, but frequently used for events; the rooftop bar is nicer. I was expecting a more premium experience, to be honest, but it's fine for a stay in LA.

Very glamorous and trendy hotel! The lobby is awesome with tall ceilings, large spiral staircase and dim lighting. Our upgrade was awesome- large suite with circular couch and large bathroom. The pool is amazing with a great bar and awesome view.
