Visitor's beware, the mall and shopping area was beautiful but beware the underground parking lot.  

Our rental car was broken into and all of our suit cases and stuff were taken out with out any broken windows,. The people that broke in had crazy skills and popped the door open as if they owned the car and unlocked the doors through the driver side.

Be careful and be sure to hide your belongings or just don't leave anything of value in your car.

Can't beat the price.  Even though we were literally 1 minute over 2 hours and had to pay an extra $ but it is nothing compared to seemingly everywhere else in LA.  Easy to get in and out of too.

Can park here for $2.00 for 2 hours, if you validate at one of the stores in the mall. Entrance on Orange st is a bit hard to find, but it goes underground and in the middle of a U-shaped driveway. Seems like a decent deal if you want to experience the Chinese theater and walk of fame, so you can wonder what your life would be like if you were rich and famous and/or dressed up as an action movie hero on the side of the street. Happiness comes from within they say, so I think either way we would be alright.

This was the worst parking experience I had while in LA. The prices were good, compared to other places around Hollywood Boulevard, but the staff was rude, and very unhelpful. We had a mixup with our parking ticket, so, as we were leaving the parking garage we called for assistance. We were told someone would be right out to help. We sat and waited, at the pay station, for 15 minutes. I called again, the guy on the other line was surprised no one had come out to help us, and tried to send someone to assist us again. No one came. The first two hours in the garage are a flat rate, after that its an additional dollar for every 15 minutes over your first two hours. We'd been waiting over 20 minutes for someone to come out, so our ticket price had increased by $2. 
When someone finally did come out to help, I told him how long we had been waiting (because I didn't think it was fair we had to pay the extra $2 because they didn't come quick enough), and the guy told us we were lying. He told us there was nothing he could do and that we would just have to pay the ticket. I asked if there was a manager or supervisor we could speak to, and he called someone out. The guy who came out gave us the run around before eventually fixing out ticket. He too told us there was nothing he could do about it, before he finally did fix our ticket.

Great place to park if you are visiting Hollywood. 2$ for 2 hours with purchase validation. Quite enough time to enjoy crowds, stars and Hollywood Museum. You can validate the parking by buying great ice-cream at the entrance to Dolby Theater.
