Fantastic restaurant! The food was incredible and the service was about the best I’ve had! I highly recommend the tempura shrimp and leek and potato soup as starters. The soup was creamy and flavorful. The tempura was light and crispy. Our server was extremely attentive and was always ready to check on us! The restaurant had great music and good vibes. We’ll definitely be back!
Really enjoyed the fantastic service, feel to this place and the way the courses are served. The staff was so kind and on point, I was so happy with everything and just really had a nice meal thanks to her, I could go on and on but I should get to the food. I liked everything I ordered, kinda wish I went with a different cut of steak but that's on me. I had a lot of unexpected pleasant surprises because I didn't research the place beforehand. 5 stars from me and I hope to return soon to try another dish. Last note the coffee was really good, overlooked probably, but I liked it!
Been here on 2 occasions and I have to say I’m always blown away by the quality of the food. Especially for this price point, the quality by far exceeds the costs. The food is always excellent here. This time I came for my birthday dinner. We ordered the tempura, uni & ikura pasta, yuzu pepper steak and the chicken wings. The best dish was definitely the tempura as the batter was perfectly light and well seasoned. The steak was on the tougher side but still had great yuzu taste. Definitely next time I’ll have to do the omakase again as that was my favorite last time. The service was fast and very attentive. The waitress was even nice enough to prepare a birthday dessert on a last minute notice. The ambiance feels like a chill Japanese Living room. It’s a great place to have an intimate dinner with friends or family or even a date! Definitely will be coming here again Food: 4.5/5 Service:5/5 Ambiance: 4/5
A steakhouse with a distinctively Japanese twist. The "Chef's Omakase Dinner" options are generous 5-course prix-fixe meals. The a la carte options are also quite good. For a party of four, we ordered three omakase sets and a handful of other menu items, and went family-style on everything. The mix of items we ordered was coursed and paced out nicely. The roasted duck appetizer, ribeye steak entrée, and lobster uni tomato cream pasta were standouts from our evening. Service was attentive, friendly, and adaptive to our probably-unorthodox ordering approach. Located up Palos Verdes somewhat, the dinner rush seems less crazy here than at other restaurants down the hill. Definitely recommend this place for a relaxed yet upscale meal.
This is a nice Japanese restaurant with Italian touch. Tuna carpaccio tastes great and lobster pasta with uni sauce is a winner.Food: 5/5
Simply incredible omakase with real Japanese A5 Wagyu as the show stopper. Order it medium well for best results.Food: 5/5
Great Japanese restaurant with impeccable service. We ordered from the course menu of angus beef. The meat was perfect medium rare, tender and juicy, and the sauce with a Japanese touch was excellent to my taste. I highly recommend this place.
Authentic Japanese food, cooked and served by an amazing staff. Chef Ryo produces some of the most amazing food we've had. I highly recommend everyone to visit!
They're following the CDC guidelines! No dine-in, just take out and delivery. Good eats, food a lil bit pricey and serving is too small for two but tastes good. Pasta a must try.
The food and service at I-Naba is top notch. The chef specializes in showcasing the delicacy of their ingredients and it shows in all of their dishes. Every appetizer, entree and dessert is plated masterfully. You'll be greeted upon arrival and departure with utmost respect and appreciation. I would definitely not recommend listening to other reviews from people that have issues with the size or the price of the entrees on the menu. It's a shame that many restaurants in the US claim to have Wagyu or Kobe beef when it really isn't. If you're all about the size and value rather than the quality and rarity of their selection of meat, you're better off going to TGI Fridays. You'd be hard pressed to find legit imported A5 Wagyu in States which retails at over $90 per pound. This is the perfect restaurant if you're open to having a unique dining experience in a Japanese setting. The interior of the restaurant may not resemble that of Bazaar or Nobu, but the overall experience is one that you'll never forget.
