Spent the weekend  of 7/14/17 there and couldn't be happier about choosing this campground.  It was great surprise to find out that every spot has electric, water, picnic table and fire pit (every spot, tents too!)  -  With water and electric - lets call it for what it is.. you're now #glamping.  The staff was super friendly, attentive and helpful. Their general store has everything you could think of (that you forgot to bring) and the prices are not gouging at all. The restrooms were clean ..   lets face it people if you want a 5 star hotel.. you probably aren't meant for camping.. The campground was full of families, kids and smiles!  I definitely will be re-booking.

I was first introduced to Wading Pines Campground when I was 15 and have not missed a year since of either staying a few days, weekend or a whole week. Have just taken my son yet again and now he is 15. Always clean, always friendly staff, never experienced any problems ever. Upkeep on buildings, pool and cabins are exceptional. Hop on the wading river in your tube and just relax or take a longer trip in the grounds canoes, either way a great time. Walk onto the island across the bridge and take in some hiking. Fish at the pond at any hour of the day. I have always enjoyed myself and felt relaxed and safe. Hope to come with grandkids when they are 15 if I am lucky. Will continue to be a repeat customer. Love It, especially for the kids there's activities on the weekends and a train ride for them. The campground is clean and well maintained. We look forward to going to relax and have a good time.

The majority of the spots are really tight.  Your picnic table is too close to the neighbor sewer.  They didn't mow the sites for memorial day weekend.  The bath house facilities were disgusting.  If it rains many of the campsites flood very easily.  When we were leaving and trying to dump the sewer was backing up into the site and delayed our departure at least an hour.  Way overpriced for the poor quality at $65 a night plus $10 per kid per night.  Will not be going back.

My husband and his cousins spent an unforgettable weekend here in a cabin several years ago, they rents canoes and had marshmallow wars on the river.  
We went as a family in 2015 and plan to go again this August.  Our daughters made a forever friend and we were completely relaxed.  The staff and grounds were terrific. Only negative is that we forgot a blanket and the store didnt sell them.
