Honestly one of my favorite places to eat.  Just a reliable greasy spoon.  Great down to earth service. Good coffee.  

My husband and I joke that if we could package Goldsboro up into just one building, it would be this Waffle House. Everything about the place is just Wayne County, from the thick Southern accents to the heavy butter on everything to the attitudes. We love it.

This is the worst service I have ever had at a waffle house. We sat down almost immediately but the table was dirty. Waited 10 minutes for them to clean it then another 5 before they would take our order and only after she attempted to argue with my husband over how she "had to take out hot food first" because she spent most of her time on to go orders. The servers spent the majority of their time arguing and bickering about to go orders openly. Got our waffles 15 minutes later before we got our drinks, once asked if we could have our drinks, she again attempted to argue over hot food first, at which point my daughter and I walked out and my husband asked to speak to the manager. She continued to argue until my husband realized the manager was the guy only making waffles. He attempted to ignore my husband and keep his back turned, finally the manager had to tell the server to shut up (literally) before she would quit.

Cook could not fry an egg over easy.  The whites were very runny, hardly cooked at all.  I sent it back and she cooked it hard as it could be (I believe intentionally).  Waitress was pleasant.

It's waffle house. The food was good and fast. It taste just like it always does. The service was friendly. Long wait to pay, but not too bad.

Just keep driving. I assure you that by the time you leave this waffle house you will want to blow your head off. The waitresses would not stop hollering and yelling across the restaurant to each other and by the time I was done with meal I got my coffee after reminding the waitress multiple times.
