I visited on Saturday just before noon with my 6 year old son.  He wanted to sit at one of the 2 person tables.  Both were dirty so I asked if they would clean one and they did.  The other table remained untouched/uncleaned with dirty dishes the entire time if my visit.  They were not busy at when I got there but I waited about 10 minutes before a waitress ever came over to take our order.  Her name is Wendy.  She is older and she moves slow.  I don't think it's because of her age but I believe she is lazy.  She has no pep.  She rubbed her nose several times while we were there and just had a general uncleanliness about her work.  I did not feel comfortable with her service and when she was ringing me up the telephone starting ringing.  She said softly to a co-worker, "I'm not answering that damn phone".   I have no desire to return to Waffle House in Archdale.

This place sprayed insectacide inside while we were eating. After we brought it up that you can not continue that while preparing, serving and customers eating food or having customers within the restaurant, the waitress looked confused and responded with " I didn't know that " and the man who was spraying inside the restaurant also responded stating " you'll be fine," then continued to spray around the restaurant and in the cooking area.

This Waffle House was the absolute worse I have ever seen! Food was not cooked right, mgmt was very rude towards us & our waitress! She tried her best but the mgmt just not up to par! Very disappointed because I love the waffle house!

Minutes after sitting down, another customer was telling one of the workers how rude she was being. The worker was fighting with other workers, complaining the entire time about having to work and complaining that she needed to go smoke. The complaining customer left and the workers proceeded to loudly trash him for having the audacity to complain. Once we had ordered, the waitress we had forgot our side of bacon, forgot to add smothered onions to the hash browns, forgot my lemon that she offered in the first place for my water then said "Well you didn't really want it anyway right?". The kitchen area was filthy as well as most of the tables and literally so cold inside your food gets cold the minute they set it on the table. All around bad experience. Will not be back anytime soon.
