Our waitress was absolutely wonderful! She works graveyard and we came in at the end of her shift this morning, we sat and listened to her carry on several different conversations and she treated all her customers including us as if she knew everyone for years , and I wanna give a major shout out to the cook, idk what he did differently from the other waffle house but I ordered the same thing I always get from the state line location and was shocked at how much better everything tasted ! Not to mention everything was cooked exactly how I like it ....plus the place was spic and span and they were all still busily cleaning ! Great job guys!
Really appreciated how quick and efficient our server was. I don't remember her name unfortunately but the food was ordered and set on our table within 10 minutes of sitting down. It was piping hot and our waitress made sure to check in on us a handful of times. She was kind and polite and had a smile on her face. Everyone there from the people eating to the workers all seemed in cheerful moods which really boosted the atmosphere. It was a little cold in there but I can only imagine how hot the people next to the stove get. Definitely recommend going to waffle house for a breakfast. I got the All Star Special which is my favorite. It comes with a waffle, grits or hashbrowns, toast, sausage or bacon, and eggs.
Wasn't aware that they are closed at 11:30. Only do to go orders. But if you place a order, you have to wait outside for it to be ready. Police standing outside to make sure. Wow what is happening in Texarkana that it has come to this?Food: 3/5
Taven hill the cook has a very messed up attitude my waffles wasn't cooked all the way thru so I asked if he can remake them he did with an attitude and made them the same way then told me if there not cooked the way you like them then I don't know what to tell you. So I just left but he needs to be transferred to another location with that attitude oh and he doesn't wear a beard mask for his facial hairs and he cooks the eggs with old eggs still around the rim of the pan. This is my favorite waffle house but he's gonna make me stop coming here and I asked him well done on the waffles and he still made them how he wanted to.
We were a party of three. We were promptly greeted and seated. Our server was relatively new to Waffle House, but was on top of things. My grandson said this was the best Texas Bacon Egg and Cheese Melt he had ever had. I enjoyed my Cheesestake melt bowl.Food: 5/5
Our fav late night, or anytime place to go! We waffle house! Food is accurate, Super fast, hot, fresh as it's made right in front of you, and DELICIOUS! Best comfort food! Service is A+++, always friendly. Prices are great! For$25 + a tip, we eat wonderfully, everyone gets what they want, and we have leftovers to take home for another meal! One will pay the same amount for fast food... One thing that was new at our visit last night AND I did not care for because it made me uncomfortable... was an armed security man at the entrance constantly walking around. Food was great, just the building was older and looked kinda dirty. Service was slow even though only 2 people was in there before we got there. I thought you could get a plate of waffles, but u have to pay for individual waffles at $5 each if thats all u want. I only seen 1 choice option the had a single waffle in it.Food: 5/5
Friendly service, low prices, and good breakfast food - exactly what Waffle House is known for. They have a small, but focused menu with a few combinations of egg, sausage, waffles, and other typical breakfast foods. I tried the blueberry waffle and it wasn't exceptional - but was definitely fine. I think the regular waffle is better. The sausage/eggs/grits meal is great if you enjoy grits. It's nice to get away from potatoes for breakfast once in a while. As a bonus, they do have sugar free syrup for the diabetics or those who are watching their diet.
I was told I had to try this place! Super friendly staff and service! Staying within COVID protocols. Food was good and served fast! Waffle was a bit lacking in flavor and texture...which dropped from 5 star to 4 star as with the name Waffle House, I expected the waffle to be BOMB...
Stopped in for Breakfast and I was very disappointed the Waffle my wife ordered was less tha a 1/4 thick I think who ever made the badder forgot something the last time I was in a Waffle house the Waffle was at leat 3/4 of an inch will not visit another Waffle house if this is the new normFood: 3/5
