Nastiest fast food place ever, the Pepsi taste disgusting, too sweet dosen’t even taste like Pepsi at all. The hamburger is like the nastiest hamburger I’ve ever tried. It tastes so bad like the meat is so weird. I definitely would not recommend. I mean It’s a 2.5 star rated for a reason.Service: 3/5

Very disappointed. This is my third visit over the months since opening.  Went in about 7:15pm, absolutely no one there. Waited 16 minutes before a young man showed up. We went to the counter to order, mentioning we'd been waiting a bit. He stated he was on his break. We asked if he was aware no one was there to do the job. He replied that it wasn't his fault no one was scheduled to work and he was not going to work during his break.  So, ordered 3 double cheese,  1 fry,  3 onion strings, vanilla malt.  We waited. Our food was ready at 8:21pm.  We live close to the store, less than a mile so we were home quickly and we were hungry. We ripped I to the food.  The fries were limp and room temp, the onion strings were room temp and there was actual grease pooled on bottom of container . Burgers were room temp. It was a lousy meal and we were so hungry we ate it and about 4am, I woke up with severe abdominal cramping and had diarrhea for a while before I could return to bed.  My partner woke at 5:30am and vomited.  We think the problem was all the grease. Since this was our 3rd visit where we had received below standard service and food we will not be returning.  Your food is very high priced for the quantity and quality of food.  We are very disappointed as we had been so very excited for Wahlburgers to come to Topeka.  Others have shared their experiences as well, and, sadly, were very similar to ours.  Maybe someone who cares will see this and make changes before this goes out of business.  Wheelchair accessibility: Need larger wheelchair accommodations.

My experience with this location was terrible. We walked in and there was no line, so we ordered right away. 3 cheese burgers and one chicken bowl. We sat there and waited for 35 minutes for our food. And then when we finally got our food we asked if everything was thereafter expressing how annoyed we were with the wait and were assured it had been checked. After getting home a 3 minute drive our food was cold and we were missing one order of french fries and 2 of our burgers were not prepared properly. I also want to note we could see the employees messing around playing on their phones, not preparing our food. We asked to speak with a manager and were told there was not one on duty, we would have to go to customer service. I will not be going back to this Wahlburgers.

The only reason for the two stars is that the food was OK. The service, however, was awful. On Sunday afternoon, Feb 5, we took two of our grandchildren to Hy-Vee for lunch after church. One ordered from the deli and got the meal right away. One ordered from the Italian counter and got the meal right away. However, two of ordered from Wahlburgers. The two who had received their meals graciously waited for the Wahlburgers and fries to be created and delivered to the table. After 35 minutes of waiting, we inquired at Wahlburgers and were informed that ours would be put on next as they placed our order on the empty grill. After another 15 minutes we received the Wahlburgers orders. To say the least, we were not satisfied with the amount of time we had to wait, unhappy that we had lunch in separate sections after all that waiting and letting our other meals grow cold… the final straw was there was appearance of remorse, no apology or compensation from the Wahburgers employees whatsoever…. In fact, they acted put out that we even checked on the food after the 35 minute wait. We will not be eating from Wahlburgers again.

This was by far the worst burger I have ever eaten. Got it tonight with my mother. Both burgers were not cooked correctly and no toppings. The fries I got were soggy and uncooked. The onion straws my mother got were also not cooked with no coating on them and were plenty soggy. On top of that, it took a full hour from order to getting the food. I was so excited to try it and so disappointed. Will not go back to this Wahlburgers.

Hamburgers were good, expecially the one that had peanut butter and jam on it.  Sounds weird but it was good.  The onion straws were NOT good.  They were like eating rubber bands.  The tator tots were extremely greasy to the point I couldn't eat them.  The shakes were also NOT good.  Don't ever get the birthday cake one, it was just plain nasty! Go for the burger, get a soda, leave the other stuff behind.

terrible experience. very pricey. food tasted ok. we waited 35 minutes for our food. I asked for no onions and to add bacon. they didn’t give me bacon and it had onions.  the buns were soggy like my burger was sitting out. the food was semi cold. the tables were dirty and out of napkins. i would not recommend…

The biggest reason I'm not giving 5 stars is the price. For two of us it was $45. We got a salad, a burger, a side of onion strings and two small shakes. For a place inside a grocery store where you have to sit in a cafeteria style seating area, it was just a little excessive. The wait was quite long of at least 25 minutes after we placed our order. The food was good but we both decided it just wasn't worth the price.

I ordered Jenn's Chicken Salad and after 40 minutes received a salad mashup of a Jenn's Salad and the Burger Wahlbowl Salad with lettuce covered in a salty brine that was totally inedible. My husband's hamburger was nothing special. We won't be back.

Tried the food out at our HyVee and waited 15min for kids meal and when I checked on my order the lady responded rudely I’m working on it now…returned to my table and when the food was brought out she set it on the table looking angry and walked away as I said thank you..she mumbled your welcome as she was walking away…not returning to this place
