This Walgreens deserves no stars . I purchased a curling iron about 2 weeks ago from here and came back to return it today because I got one as a birthday gift 2 days ago . The one I returned was evidently unopened as I never even took it out of the box and yes I lost the receipt so they had to call the manger Jose who comes with a face as if he is not happy to be at work today .  I explained I lost the receipt and somehow it doesn't come up under my phone number which is the same one I use every time I shop at Walgreens which is very often by the way . He tells me nothing and says to the guy at the register "do we even have this" the guy says he has never seen or so he holds it up high and asks the girl in cosmetics who confirms they do and I asked him if it was still $49.99 which is how much I paid for it and he says will go check but disappears and as I start walking towards cosmetics to check the price myself he starts calling me from the photo department to go over there . He gives me a credit of $39.99 for it and tells me that is how much is for now and all he can give me and so I replied well I don't think I have a choice do I ? He gives me the Walgreens gift card with the $39.99 credit for it and I go back to cosmetics which I probably should have done to begin with to check the price which indeed was $49.99 and is what I should have gotten the credit for . I go back again and ask for him "Jose" the manager and they call him so he comes out and I asked him why he gave me $39.99 if it's up for $49.99 which is how much I paid for it and he just stays quiet like if he is in another planet and I am talking to him in another language that he does not recognize and after I politely asked about 3 times he tells me that is what he got on the system and nothing he can do about and to call the number on the back of the receipt to complain . Very unprofessional, i am a manager myself of a law firm and this is not a way to treat a customer who is being taken advantage of to say the least I will not ever come back to this Walgreens or any other Walgreens for that matter and will discourage everyone I know from doing so

From my most recent experiences with Walgreen's especially this Walgreen's the one I go to all the time. I have to say the staff there is very friendly they know me  as a friend will know me. I would like to take the time to thank pharmacist manager joy for being so helpful and especially pharmacists Sam who has helped me with situations that were uncomfortable for me to ask because it wasn't about me it was about other people in my family and he gave me great advice and he always looks out for me and I've seen him do it for other customers to. He make sure we're getting the best price and that the insurance companies  communicate with the doctors so that Iwe don't have to pay out of pocket . He knows how hard life is  especially with what I'm going through he definitely goes above and beyond to help in every way that he can and I really appreciate him for helping me and my family be well. most likely I will post again because there are a lot of people not only in the pharmacy that are great people but I can't remember names right now because there's so many of them and they definitely deserve their name to be posted as well as their awesome customer sevice.
