Love the energy of this place. From families on picnic to singles walking deep in thought, from men and boys playing basket ball after a hard day at work to people walking their dogs... This place is a perfect fit for everyone. It's maintained so well and has such a peaceful vibe. We go here everyday to walk our dog :)

Was visiting Fayetteville from out of town. Googled this park, and was so glad I did. My dog loved the park. The restroom was very clean and heated. The walkways were well maintained, and from the numbers of other people enjoying the park that day, alot of people, esp. families with their dogs too, agree with me. This park is a community jewel.

Great park! You got it all here. Artwork, basketball, disk golf course, even a skate park! Walker Park is where it's at!

I remember the park from my childhood. It's much larger now but the tennis and basketball courts were there when I was a 👦. It's quite an inviting place actually. It has enough visibility that it stays safe at night. I've only ever occasionally encountered a panhandling vagrant. Unfortunately homelessness seems to be becoming more prevalent here in South Fayetteville but the worst I've had to deal with was a man with liquor on his breath. I just bluntly explained I could smell it and that I wasn't giving him any cash. It was all not violent and I didn't once feel threatened. I was there at nine at night at that time though.

Great place to go with your family and pets. There is a swimming pool close by to enjoy with your family. They also have a great walking area to exercise, tennis courts, and clean restrooms.
