Customer service at this store has really gone downhill in the last 6 months. No matter what time I shop, there are NEVER enough checkers and I end up waiting in line 30 - 40 minutes. This is no exaggeration. Horrible management of resources. there are over 20 checkout registers incl. self-check, but only 4 seemed to be manned at any point in time & many of the checkers are very slow. I have to wonder why none of the registers on the west side of the store are ever open, excepting aisle 13 (because cigarette sales). trying to checkout from the store has gotten so bad that I've started shopping at Winco. Prices are better and the service there is always efficient and friendly. who needs Walmart anymore?

The best Walmart in Reno. The employees take pride in their jobs and themselves. It shows in the smiles on their faces and their willingness to help you with any item you are looking for. At times they actually take you to it. However, when it comes to check out it's just as busy as all of the others. Their self checkout is always available. Would RECOMMEND this location. GOOD JOB 03287!

All the reviews of "this is the best Walmart ever been to..." Its comparable to most of the other stores I’ve been to. It tends to be over crowded and often under stocked. Not to mention all the items in aisles and all those carts in customer service. Like a bunch of hoarders. If this is the best you get in Reno/Sparks and the Bay Area... Pretty disappointing. Get tired of shopping there and self checking myself out with 100 items and waiting on the cashier to constantly clear the register of errors or painfully wait in line for anywhere between 15-45 minuets depending how many cashiers are open or moving at a leisurely pace. Doesn’t matter how fast they check you out they get paid by the hour. Customer service is also supposed to be open to 10pm but they like to cut corners and close early. No surprise there. It’s not the CSRs problem but if it’s advertised to be open til 10pm and it’s not, that is in my opinion, bad customer service and false advertising. Will Walmart doing about all this... I highly doubt it because it’s not about the customers any more it’s corporate greed.

I am a former employee and a customer at this store. It's my favorite Walmart in the Reno/Sparks area, and the bay area in California as well. Everyone is polite and at least act like they enjoy being there. They work hard to keep the store clean, stocked and staffed. The employees are friendly with each other, its really cool to see them joking around and having fun, that's what work is supposed to be about. ALSO... I've been to every other Wal-Mart around, and this one is literally the cheapest. Most things are like $0.50-$1 less than the other stores.

To start with...this Walmart is by far the best kept and staffed of all the Walmarts in the Reno/Sparks area. I drive 6miles out of my way because of that. In addition I'd like to take note of Jesse. By far the best employee I have ever met. She's not just a nice smile, she actually knows what she's doing and will go out of her way for you. Management in this store is outstanding. They handle any issue. I went in to buy a TV that was offered at a special price. No one could find it. The manager came back to electronics and stayed till it was found...that's service.
