same day pick up is a joke!!!!! ordered an item Sunday morning for same day pick up, several hours later get an email saying my pickup has been delayed 3-5 days. ok, it happens, computer must not have realized they were out of stock on this item. so, I figure since I have to go there in 3-5 days anyways I'll order something else Monday for same day and just pick them both up when the first one comes in Wednesday-Friday. Ordered after 4pm, so it would no longer be same day pickup it would be next day. All good though right, it'll still be sitting there waiting when the first order comes in Wednesday-Friday. HA!!!!! not likely. Get email Wednesday to pick up the first order that was delayed and the second order is still in process!!!!!! Need to change the same day pick to "we'll email you sometime in the next week to let you know when you can pick up your order"

The sporting goods section is typically staffed with good employees. Hunter is great as are several of the other younger guys working there. Though I often have to wait for someone to arrive as the station is abandoned. Not a huge deal; however, I'll tell you what is. Bruce is the rudest, worst employee back there. I have no idea why he feels the need to be short, rude, and basically disrespectful to people spending large amounts of hard-earned money on sporting goods and products. I made a purchase intended to be a gift, but during the purchase I noticed the box was almost completely destroyed after Bruce had opened it to check the serial numbers on the product. When I mentioned this he told me "It's the way they all are" and refused to go to the back to get me a box not torn to pieces. In addition to this, his demeanor was poor and his attitude was overall straight garbage. I had already waited weeks for the store to get the product in stock, so I was forced to buy it. But, after that purchase I have not been back to the Easley Walmart store. Bruce's ridiculously rude behavior cost the store my business and until that is rectified, I'd rather spend a couple extra cents at Academy where the employees are respectful, friendly, and helpful.

Prefer this store over powdersville. More lighting and it's easier to find what you are looking for. Since they added self check out it's been faster to get in and out.

Nice big lot and clean store but they were people just hanging out and walking around the parking lot. The cops had to run some people off from hanging out. The area just didn't feel safe. Some people were sitting in their cars just watching other people and the cops ran them off too. This was at 1 am in the morning.
