The lady in the shoe department around 10.30 or 11 PM was super sweet and helped me out even though the store had sold out of the swim shoes I was looking for. I forgot her name, but truly appreciated her. She even said that she loves her job and I could tell it was the truth.

They always have great sales & selection in women's, men's & children's clothes, houseware, crafts, etc. But many times the grocery section is low or out of products & I have to go the Wal-Mart neighborhood market. (In their defense, when I asked a manager about a specific brand of flavored water, she said she would make sure to re-order it.) They also have very good clearance & sale sections.

Was supposed to be a quick trip I'm and out to get one game that had been released 2 days prior. Turned into 35 minutes of me standing there be looked at like an idiot, being talked at like I was a fool, and then finally the manager and her cronies figure out it's their fault and find a bar code that works all for her to just look at me finally and say "You can pay now" and taps her 3 inch long fingernail on the keypad like I'm some child being taught simple math. Worst experience I've ever had in a Wal-Mart.

It's very clean and the employees are cool people. They actually help you find things in the store. The traffic outside is crazy but it's not too bad. Great place.

I think this Walmart in Birmingham/Homewood AL was the cleanest, most organized Walmart store I've been in. The service representatives and cashier were even courteous.
