Located in the heart of Ohio's Amish country, Walnut Creek Furniture has been bringing quality, handcrafted Amish Furniture into homes for over 20 years. Our products are custom, made from fine woods, and crafted by Ohio Amish craftsmen.

Story

Walnut Creek Furniture has been providing beautiful home furnishings made by skilled Amish craftsmen since 1989. Styles have changed a lot throughout the last 25 years, but one thing remains the same—the heirloom quality of each piece that is crafted from beautiful hardwoods such as oak, cherry, elm, and maple. In fact, some of the world’s finest hardwoods are from right here in Ohio, sustainably grown and harvested.

Perhaps, like me, you have memories of Grandma’s house which include a china hutch towering over the dining room, packed with plates and teacups, precious knick-knacks, and the company silver. (Depression glass and the miniature cuckoo clock were just a few of my favorites.) The chair backs around the dining room table were worn smooth from generations of hands, built to last for the lifetime of children, grandchildren, and even the great-grands who gathered for family dinners. Those pieces have since found their way into the homes of my parents, aunts and uncles, brothers and sisters. Not only are they still useful every day, they are heirlooms we can pass on to our own children some day.

Our show room is centrally located in Holmes County’s Amish country, giving you access to bedroom sets, dining rooms, entertainment centers, coffee and end tables, shelving, coat racks, and chairs from hundreds of local craftsmen. We have a large inventory on display for shoppers to buy as is, but what really sets us apart is the custom services we offer. Our in-house design team will gladly work from your photo, drawing, or ideas to customize a piece of furniture with your choice of wood and decorative hardware, then professionally stain and finish to your specifications here at our on-site finishing shop.
