I love this park and so do my dogs! It's leash free and so much fun. Wear comfortable shoes. Paths have lose rocks so you want to make sure you have ankle stability. There are little areas where your dog's can go for a dip. Mine are small chihuahuas and they love it.

Great trail. Lots of off shoots but didn't see many directions to get back to the parking lot. Some dogs were off leash and 2 got into a "scuffle" near me. Not everyone thinks your dog is cute! Another classic "he don't bite" 🤔 Well he has teeth, don't he?

It's Sunday August 27, 2017 around 5:30pm. Around the time Hurricane Harvey is on land and Austin is receiving rain. So much rain that the creek here at this park raised to a higher ground than usual. And all I have to say is I love it.

Best walking and biking park in Austin. Newly built concrete walk with bridges allow easy access in a rugged terrain. Miles of dirt trails under the trees, making even late summer triple digit temperature days okay for walking in the afternoon. (Tree transpiration drops the temperature 20 degrees or more). I've been walking there for 25 years. It's still not boring.

Really well maintained park with plenty of marked hiking trails. The location is also very convenient with plenty of parking space.
