Wapo Taco Coral Gables was established in 2015. Wapo Taco is a 100% taqueria that has been making authentic tacos since 1962 in Mexico City. Wanting to set the record straight about real Mexican food, we decided to bring our recipes to the US. Our traditional and delicious assortments of signature dishes are made with fresh ingredients and unique flavor combinations guaranteeing to satisfy the appetite for all.

Nice welcoming atmosphere. Much larger than it looks from the outside. Everything is kept very clean the bathrooms are emaculate the kitchen in plain view is spotless. Prices are reasonable and I am very impressed with the quality of the food

$10 for 2 small tacos is ridiculous. The rice has no flavor. The salsa verde has an abnormally neon color and taste like chemicals. It's a little too expensive, it lacks freshness, flavor and authenticity. So sad, really wish to find a good Mexican spot in Miami.

Burrito tasted funky. They gave us a Spoonful of salsa for the chips... Seriously, just enough for 1 chip.

Coyo Taco prices with taste more in line with Moes. Frankly if that was the only issue with the restaurant, I wouldn't have bothered to place a review, I just wouldn't go back. Unfortunately this vaunted establishment is at the center of the worst ubereats experience I've ever had. Two and a half hours is what it took to get our order on what was originally a 20 to 30 minute delivery window. The first attempt to put it through took over an hour and the order was abruptly canceled. We called Uber and they pegged the issue on the driver, so we asked if the restaurant could still fill the order. The restaurant told the Uber representative they could prepare the food in 20 minutes. An hour and 15 minutes after that and we still had nothing. Every call we made to the restaurant to verify the status was at best, less than professional and usually just rude. When we finally received the food (at 11:25pm; the latest I've ever eaten Mexican food sober), the order wasn't even right. Please do yourself a favor and the avoid this establishment; just go to Chipotle or any other Mexican restaurant. BurgerFi is always solid and right next door. The fact that this dump is still in business despite being next to a place with better food, cheaper prices, and better service is a travesty. There are too many options for dining out in Hollywood for these people to get away with putting any customer through the experience we just went through.
