Dropped my car off here after hours with a transmission issue, when they opened up the next day, turned out they don't do internal transmission work, but they still took a look at it with no charge and gave me an idea of the surface issue, and then let me keep it there for several days while I arranged a tow. Customer service was great, even though I didn't end up being a customer :-)

I love this place!!! They have been so helpful to our family that I cannot honestly express how much I appreciate a car shop like this. Just downright good honest people here.  They won't sell you on anything that your car doesn't need and will get you  back on the road , as quickly, safely and cheaply as possible. Wonderful people,  great business!!!

These are the guys (and gals). Trustworthy, honest and fair, and especially good with Subarus.

Awesome local mechanic shop! They gave me honest advice and were quick. They had a variety of cars in for service and were taking in lots of Subarus. Solid gem of people and a business in Truckee.

They lost a piece of my engine!!!! Alternator went out and I had to get a tow from alpine. The tow guy recommended these hacks. When we arrived they almost refused to take it because it "was a Lexus and probably an out of towner" after the tow guy took ten minutes to convince them I'm a local, they overcharged me by 40 bucks over what quality automotive quoted. Four weeks later I pull up the hood and these clowns never put back on the engine cover. When I went back, they couldn't find it and had to get one from a junkyard to replace it. When I confronted the kid mechanic that did the work, his response was "it's just a piece of plastic, bruh."  Then when they got the used replacement, Instead of ordering the bolts they lost, they installed it with washers and ace hardware hex head lag screws!!!! This place does half ass work and their customer service is even worse. Who knows how many things they have scabbed back together from the mistakes they make. Never again. Skip the headache. Go anywhere but here.
