Maybe we happened to call at the wrong times, but twice we called in emergency situations, one, our older dog had declined and we called about perhaps having him put down. We left two messages and neither were returned, ever.. This morning we called just as they opened to get our dog seen because she had been throwing up and had very loose stools the previous night, and we feared she was dehydrated. This time we were told that we could be seen three days later. Not timely for a dog in obvious distress. We've raised, trained, and shown dogs for over 50 years, so we're pretty in tuned to what comprises an emergency, and what doesn't. Compassionate care? Maybe not. We called another clinic and were seen right away.

Very kind, & understanding. Listened to what I had to say and I appreciate that very much. Answered all of my questions and were super awesome about it! Even the gals at the front desk were very helpful! Thank you!

We started going to Washington Family Veterinary Clinic when they opened their clinic. They have truly given our dogs quality, compassionate care through good health, a wide variety of health issues and saying good-bye to four dearly loved furry kids. Dr Barton and Dr King have helped us through some unusual diagnoses and treatments as well as the routine. They have gone the extra mile to help us understand the illness and the treatment options supported our decisions. We currently have three healthy, young dogs and WFVC is helping us keep them healthy and comfortable with going to the Vet. We have had a dozen dogs over they years and several Veterinarians, but Dr Barton and Dr King are the very best!

I love going to Washington Family Vet, they are just the best people! Everyone treats my pets and me so nicely. The ladies always seem to have a smile on their faces. It's such a pleasant atmosphere. They take the time to explain what's going with my pets issues. We are currently working with Dr. King on Jake's eye problem. He's so gentle and kind. Thanks, you guys are terrific!! Update on Jake-he's all well! We recently went through a traumatic experience, our precious baby kitten (3 months old) Magellan, got so ill. We dealt with all three of the Dr.'s. Each one of them was so compassionate and caring as we went through this ordeal. In the end, we had to let Magellan go. Dr. King was so supportive of our decision and took care of the details. My heart broke over that tiny, little kitten, but I felt so much care and love from everyone. Again, thank you.

In the last 8 years we have seen quite a few Vets. Vet Jace King took the time to really look at our dogs. He looked at their eyes, teeth, ears, hips.. He advised us on weight and hip proactive treatment for both our dogs. Never have we had such discussions in the past.
