Arrived Saturday, August 19 with no reservations.   Surprised space available due to the Eclipse on Monday.  Office explained that the owner had called and doubled the price for all available sites for Sunday, August 20.  So I paid $30.00 for Saturday night and $70.00 for Sunday.  Park is decent, right on river with nice beach.  Nice for dog walking.  Breakfast, well attended, on beach Sunday A.M.  Eclipse was GREAT!

It's a nice campground with shady spots and it's own beach. The bathrooms are clean and the shower dressing rooms are large. The staff are pleasant, overall a nice place to stay. If I'm ever in the area again I would stay here.

Had a wonderful stay up there for one night.  People at the front desk were very accommodating even though I was only staying one night in a tent on the weekend.  One of the camp hosts even gave me directions to a local mountain bike trail, which was a great ride!  Will definitely stay there again for the next 4 Summit Challenge.

Very crowded. Sites are only a few feet from each other and there is absolutely no privacy. Was supposed to be able to use canoes and kayaks on the river, but equipment was missing. We never got the chance. Sometimes there would be a canoe, but no paddles. Sometimes a kayak but again no paddles.

Some pull through spaces can be quite narrow. Plenty of better spaces. I recommend making a reservations. Clean facilities, lots of trees, nice beach area.
