Story

Waterways Dog Park is a 1.5 acre waterfront park equipped for pets to exercise off leash. The park features open space, two comfort stations with doggie water fountains, doggie showers and a shaded patio with benches for owners to relax and enjoy. A valid Aventura resident ID card is required to access the dog park. They are available at Waterways Park, Founders Park and the Community Recreation Center. Proof of Aventura residency is required.

Residents must apply in person with proper documentation for the Aventura resident ID card. There is no cost to obtain an Aventura ID.
Any of the following documents shall be adequate for determining City of Aventura residency:
Florida driver license or identification card
Voter registration card
Passport
Current electric, telephone or utility bill
Mortgage deed or lease

Bank statements, cell phone bills, mail or auto registration cards are not valid documents.
