The operators of this structure attempt to cheat you by overcharging, and they are ALWAYS rude. Recently this parking structure came under new management, and I have a problem with them almost every time I come to the center. Tonight was the worst. I validated my ticket at the movie theater after seeing a 7:10 showing. I parked at about 6:50pm, and theater validation gives you 3 hours. After that, it's $1 every 30 minutes. I left at 10:20pm expecting to pay a dollar, and I had the cash ready. The guy takes my ticket and says I owe $5. It's not a huge difference but I didn't have the cash on me so I handed him my card. The guy audibly sighs and says "don't you have cash?" And I tell him I don't have enough. He replies "I mean the line out of here is really long you're holding it up" and I reply again that I don't have enough cash. I wish I was joking but this guy then snatches the card out of my hand and begins to run it. At this point I see the sign that says $1 per 30 minutes and I ask him why it's $5, because according to the sign I should pay $1. I said this loud enough so his assistant behind him looked at me, but the guy did not look at me. In fact he did not even respond until after he ran my card, and then he said still without looking at me, "it's not validated". My card was validated, I saw the ink print on my ticket when I put it through the machine at the theater. I was confused. "My ticket is validated, I did it at the theater." Now the guy looks at me, hands me my card back and says "no you didn't." Then he opens he gate and waves me out, and when I open my mouth to protest he turns his head away and continues to wave me out. I'm not gonna hold up the line to argue with this guy, so I leave, but I can't believe he was so unbelievably rude. This is also not the first time this has happened. Once, the operators told me my ticket was not valid and tried to charge me, and when I protested I learned their ticket scanner wasn't working so they were treating all tickets as lost. I got out of that one by threatening to call the police. They are so shady. I'm looking into ways to make a formal complaint.

Fairly priced parking in an area where parking can be difficult to find.
