My boyfriend went in tonight on July 5, 2017 and he came home to tell me the lady at the register was completely rude. She was sitting on a stool, on her phone, when he walked up, and made continuous smart comments the moment he walked up to the register about turning in a couple scratch off tickets. She had blonde hair and I'm pretty sure I have dealt with her before. Treating your REGULAR customers like they are bothering you from enjoying your cellphone at work is sad.

I really hope this Wawa doesn't turn into a place with lazy and rude employees because it's extremely close to our house and we like coming here frequently. If that's the kind of customer service they are promoting then we won't be here for it, and will be happy to spread the word.

I generally enjoy Wawa, I was excited to visit this one for the first time on my way from work to my night class. I specifically went in with just cash, intending to be in and out quick. I got my items, wait in line 8 people deep, and when I finally get up there and hand the cashier my $5 bill, he holds it up to the light, and says he can't accept it. It was an older $5, the old design. I thought he was joking, when he informed me that their policy is to check all bills for the strip. When I told him there aren't strips in bills under $20, he just shrugged. I asked him to get a marker, he informed me they don't have one. I went back out to my car to get my debit card, wait in line 6 people deep this time, to use my card and get a transaction fee. And at this point I'm too late to make class on time in 5:30pm traffic. 

I suggest that if you're going to implement a policy to check for counterfeit bills, your employees should be properly trained to identify a piece of valid tender. And, he did not check the bills of any of the other customers who were paying cash?

I'm mostly perturbed at how casual the cashier was about not respecting my time. I feel like the service is a huge part of being successful as a Wawa, and it was a bad first impression for me.

Great staff.   Clean store.  I come here 2 to 3 times a day.  Love the coffee love the water.
