I have been going to Dr. McCaskill for about 6 years and I highly recommend this practice. His daughter is also a doctor there. They are both the nicest, most down to earth and truly caring people that I know. The same can be said for all of the staff there. I used to go to a large family medicine practice where I never knew what doctor I was going to see each time and they had so many patients that everyone was just a number and the doctors were always in a hurry. I got tired of it and needed a change, so I started going to Dr. McCaskill, as he is a friend of my family and they said I should give him a try. That was the best decision that I ever made. He cares about me as a person and my life in general, not just all the medical stuff. He asks how things are going for me and I like that. He is very open-minded, knowledgeable, easy to talk to, has a great bedside manner, and does not give up on me until my medical conditions are resolved or being managed well. Any other doctor would have given up because I am allergic and sensitive to alot of medications, so I'm not exactly the easiest patient to treat. And I can't forget to mention that he does not mind giving hugs if you are having a bad day. He is NOT a callous, uptight doctor. He is very soft spoken and caring, and it shows. It is a 40 minute drive from my house to this doctor's office, but it is well worth the journey. Trust me when I tell you that there is no way anyone could not be satisfied with the care and compassion that they get if they choose to go here. Everyone who works here will quickly become like a second family to you that you can count on for all your medical needs.
