Chicken wings were delicious!! I've never had honey mustard flavored wings before, and these did not disappoint me at all!! I loved the paintings on the walls. My other new fave spot in New Orleans!!!
Visiting New Orleans this was a a must stop. Food on point. Service was decent and pretty fast and they don’t break your pocket. I got the two piece and shrimp with the loaded fries. Fye ! Had some for now and later lol
It was right down the street from Joy Theatres after Destroy Lonely concert. We decided to stop in to eat something. I knew it was gonna be busy because of the concert. The line was slow because one person was at the counter working. But someone came out to help her to keep the line moving. I got the 6 piece with the fries and drink. I chooses the lemon pepper flavor and it was amazing. I recommend getting cheese and jalapeños loaded onto your fries. But the fries by themselves were pretty good. My friend got the korean bbq flavor and it was delicious. It tasted like korean bbq. Overall, the lady at the counter seemed stressed I can relate. But the food was really good.
I will never in my life order from them again I don’t care if it’s for my dog. This is slop Order ten piece garlic parm wings and I received wet sweaty hard nasty wings that reminds you of throw up. I was so disgusted I had immediately eat a piece of gum from gagging the fries was cold and limp and even tho had season on them. They still had no flavor. Like how hard is it to make simple wings and fries. !!!!!! Money wasted never again and everybody at my job said I told you don’t order from them. Now I see what they mean
Love when you find a place on maps and take a chance and it winds up being really good. We Dat's is just that, really good. We had the shrimp and catfish and the best part was nothing was cooked until we ordered. Great seasoning on all including the fries.
So I rolled into We Dats after a concert and towards the end of a Mardi Gras Parade. It was my first time there so I asked the gentleman at the register what sauce he recommended for my tenders. Without hesitation he said the “WUZZAM” sauce and to get the ranch fries to go with them. Quick side note, If you don’t know anything about NOLA, when you go into a local restaurant, get what they recommend, you will never go wrong. Fantastic food, hit the spot, the place was extremely busy and the folks there were working hard to get the food out, but not at the expense of rushing the food. The tenders and fries were piping hot and delicious. The tenders were made from real chicken breasts and were prepared perfectly. To me the “WUZZAM” sauce tasted like some combination of Buffalo sauce maybe Franks Red Hot sprinkled with some magical Nawlin’s voodoo spices, the combo was astounding and matched the Ranch fries to a tee. The prices were good, usually downtown you are going to pay quite a bit more for food, but I suspect they are able to offset their prices because they do so much business. They also give a military/first responder discount. In my opinion this was waaaay better than any big chain chicken restaurant. Give ‘em a try, I think you will be pleased. Last note, they had a bunch of other sauces to choose from, wings, and a nice selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
On a tour of New Orleans, my mother and I were given the recommendation to eat at We Dat’s and we were not disappointed. Not only was the staff extremely friendly and accommodating, the food was TOP NOTCH!! The Brows Special and Super Nova Dat-quiri were awesome. The fish and shrimp were fresh and delicious! We had to stay in the restaurant wasting time until our flight, and Kynisha made us feel completely welcomed to do so. We were singing and joking in the restaurant, and no one was rushing us or cleaning around us wanting us to leave. It was awesome! Thank you We Dat’s! I can’t wait to come back and visit you all again. Much love!
After a long night out on the town we decided to grab some wings that was close to Bourbon street! The wait was very long but the food was satisfying after a night of drinking! I got the wazzum flavor and fully loaded fries. Hubby wanted catfish but they were out so he settled for fried shrimp that was pretty good.
Affordable quick eats. Went twice during our stay. Wuzzam wings and fries with ranch added cheese and jalapeno the second day- not pictured.  Chicken is better fried hard. Sauce is a bit salty wuzzam. But overall I'd recommend.
Had the 6 wing special wuzzam sauce and ghetto punch...perfectly cooked and great taste. The punch just trust me get the ghetto version...don't forget to keep the cup that's New Orleans fine China...
