I have only been with Welcyon for two months but LOVE it so far.  Have steadily been getting stronger, my balance is getting better and I am feeling great about myself.  My three favorite things about Welcyon:  1.  The staff knows your name and says hello when you walk through the door.  2.  You don't have to remember what weights you are lifting or what the machine settings should be...the computer takes care of it for you.  3.  This gym is filled with real bodies, not perfectly toned spandex clad ones!

I've been going to Welcyon for few months, I love it!  Everyone I've met has been more than helpful, I've learned so much about taking it SLOW instead of speeding thru my workout, slow helps burn that fat, and I feel so much better after my workout.
Glad to be a part of the Welcyon family!

I joined Welcyon over two years ago after attending another name brand gym for follow up care of my cardiac rehab after my fourth heart attack.  I enjoy the equipment and the relaxed atmosphere.  The trainers are very helpful on how to use and set up the equipment and are always there if I have any questions. Two years ago I came down with bronchitis and was diagnosed with sever COPD also my shoulder and hip started to cause me pain was informed by my doctor that arthritis was the cause.  I did physical therapy for the arthritis along with pulmonary rehab for the COPD. Welcyon’s equipment and trainers are very well suited for fallow up care for both.  Even with my new health problems I do yard work (up to six hours a day lots of landscaping this spring) more than I could do three years ago.  I walk two to three miles or more with no problem and ride bike 15 or more miles. Why do I continue to go to Welcyon almost on a daily basis because it enables me to do the things I want to do and enjoy life?  I don’t call it working out now it’s what I do to feel better.

I love Welcyon! I had never done any strength training until I joined Welcyon.  The trainers are knowledgable and helpful.  The weight equipment is VERY easy to use. The machines use air resistance which provides a great workout and allows you to increase your workout one pound at a time.  The trainers are always there monitoring your progress, making suggestions, and helping you improve.  The cardio equipment is wonderful as well.  Everything is designed to protect your joints.I have been a member for over 2 years and plan to stay for life. I am in the best shape I've been in since high school.  I highly recommend Welcyon!
