Went into the branch today to add my daughter to my account. Ended up opeing her own account aswell. Ms. Sharda Narang was awesome in knowledge of everything we needed to know. She was extremely helpful and so sweet. Thank you Sharda for such a great transaction!

Time to walk away from Wells Just when I thought if walked into a customer friendly branch, I was quickly proven wrong. I was greeted at the door. I sat in the lobby for 20 plus minutes waiting for someone to assist me. Just to find out the actual greeter was on lunch the person who greeted me was the one who was supposed to be helping me. No one else was in line. Just me waiting for them to do their job and grant me access to my hard earned money. My last attempt to stay with this fraudulent corporation. If they stood on any bit of morals they would be translated into the branches. It's not. Just money sucking vultures.

Someone walked in there trying to cash a check that I didn't write. Through the conversation it was obviously someone trying to be fraudulent and steal money from me. Instead of the bank calling the police they just let him walk write out.

Banks in general often get a bad reputation. I don't mind Wells Fargo as a whole, but this specific location caused me some serious problems. When trying to close on a house, I needed to deposit a cashier's check at Wells Fargo. I came to this location and they tried to tell me that it would take up to a week to clear a cashier's check (certified by a bank and already withdrawn from my account). When I asked how that was different from a personal check, they seemed unable to answer my question. It took a call from the manager at my location in Alexandria, VA to the manager at this location and the contact information from the manager of the bank that issued the cashier's check (a popular Houston-area credit union). Finally, I was told that the teller who deposited the check made a mistake and processed it incorrectly. They said they would have it cleared by 9 in the morning and would call me to say it was done. It was helpful, but considering the amount of driving back and forth between banks and calling around to get this manager to listen to me, it was not good enough.
