Terrible bank, blood suckers--- a 20+ year customer, now moving my business somewhere else. Recent example: I maintained a separate, low usage business checking account from my previous consulting business. It cost $2.50/month, but I kept it in case I got an odd consulting job. I kept $25+ in it, and it saw almost no activity, so WF was getting $30/yr from me for that account for practically nothing. I wasn't paying attention and found that they raised my fee to $10/mo for this "nothing." I went in to close the account, waited in line at the teller since no one was around the lobby, the teller then called over some other stooge who took my name and told me I had to wait to talk to a banker. I waited, then found out that since my driver's license had expired on my birthday a few days earlier, they could not close the account for me, no "valid" ID. "Hey, I am the same 20+-yr customer I was a few days ago. Here's my phone, I can log into my account in front of you to check my several other WF accounts..." She cited the Patriot Act rules as the reason. A few days later I returned with license renewal slip and waited again to talk to a banker. Different one this time, she looked it up and cheerfully said this account had already been closed --lo and behold-- on the date I had come in a few days prior. I just about exploded. I have now refinanced my mortgage away from WF, closed my equity line of credit account, and will soon be closing my checking and business credit card accounts. This may sound like overreaction,, but it was the culmination of years of nickel and dime fees, overdraft fees due to deposits being held, and many other wastes of my time. Goodbye, Wells Fargo, I will not miss you.

I waited over 6 months for a new card. My card was showed as not being sent out, than they had the wrong address, on and on and so forth. Than trip after trip back to the bank for a new temporary card, speaking to banker after banker, too only find out yet again my new card had not been Sent out. Now this morning depositing delays after it was confirmed to be available in my bank today. Beyond frustrating! It has become pointless to call or even go into the bank at this point because from what I have experienced the staff can't fix any of the issues anyway. I have been with this bank for over 10 years and will be closing my accounts after the continous issues after issue! Complete disorganization and lack of care for the inconvince to their customers.

Want to waste your time? Try to do a simple teller transaction any time of day.

Generally a well run bank but has 2 absolutely incompetent bankers, and 1 nasty teller. Rest of the staff is great.

A good friendly bank, generally willing to help. Can be busy and slow, though.
