I went to the ATM to pull out 200 bucks. The machine spit out 180 with a sheet of stamps placed midway through the stack. I'm certain I didn't ask for any stamps.

When I retired from government service in Washington DC, I had to give up Suntrust bank, where I had banked for nearly 30 years without a problem.

First off, the Maryland Wells Fargo did not give me a correct routing number for automatic deposit.  (they left out a digit - I thought this bode ill for the future)
Now, despite having 300K in a checking and saving account, Wells Fargo managed to change my checking account with neither my knowledge or permission, and has caused all sorts of problems.  Their solution is to issue a fresh checking account which leaves me with no checks....
And of course, they want to charge me for cashiers checks to close my account and deposit funds in another bank.
I never thought a bank could perform so ineptly and incompetently

I had  $12,000 deposited in my checking account from an investment account. A Wells Fargo email says the funds are available. This branch says it isn't. Customer service said it is, so I went to another branch and they did the wire transfer for me. Wasted an hour an a trip to another branch on this.

Slowest Wells Fargo bank downtown.  Often see staff just standing around.  Are they not crossed trained?
