About

The Friends of the Wentworth Library is an organization of individuals who
share a passionate commitment for a strong library system.

Story

The Friends of the Wentworth Library is an active organization working in partnership with the library to share ideas and resources which will benefit the Wentworth Library community. We do this by:
• Holding book sales – spring and fall
• Sponsoring book clubs in West St. Paul and Mendota Heights
• Partnerships with other organizations
• Holding and assisting with events at the library
• Maintaining a Friends kiosk
• Attending library events
• Volunteering at the library
• Ongoing work with the library staff.

Meetings are held the last Monday of most months at the library, 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. All are welcome.

Our mission is to focus public attention on library services, build community relationships and promote and enhance the Wentworth Library.

Called the library to see if they had a certain book, before driving out there. They don't even give you the option to speak to a person, it's just press 1 for this and 2 for that. Beside the phone issue, pretty nice library.

It's a nice library to bring your kids to. Lots of books and sometimes they have story time where the librarians read books to all the kids.

Not very large but very quiet with lots of resources. Can print, use internet on desktops, free wifi, rent DVDs, quiet study rooms, and you can drop off and have items delivered to other libraries within Dakota county.

They have loads of computers here! I never have a problem finding an open one to use unless there's a class going on. Huge selection of books, dvds, etc. and lots of areas for sitting. Huge windows with views of the woodsy area behind the library. Very friendly and helpful staff.
