This place is very tasty! I got the smoked brisket plate with Mac and cheese and beer battered fries. Everything was quality and what I was hoping for! Definitely planning to come back to try more! They're tarantula hill - liquid candy IPA was killer! I included they're amazing tap collection below as well! Could potentially use a change in music hard rock but everyone has their own taste so not going to knock them for that! Great, friendly staff! Parking: Good amount of parking available Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs here and a wheelchair accessible parking spot right in front of it with a ramp to get on the curb.
The server was friendly and helpful. We ordered the bbq nachos and the chicken sandwich. The nachos were flavorful, a must try! The portions are big enough to share. They have a vast selection of food alcohol and food.
Great food, fast , and awesome beer selection! Great staff, super nice and friendly you gotta go there! Easy to park, good spot for a game and some bomb bbq, veggie stuff is good too says my vegetarian friend!!! Try the smoked chicken, garlic fries were good, no vampires coming around us, and check out that cheese cake! Having the beer battered fries next time.
Food is good, portion is big so don’t over order, servers are hot, friendly and passionate..
This is one of La Mesa's hidden gems. Its hard to find another place that excels with their service, food, and beer selection and creates such a wonderful family-friendly atmosphere. It has won dozens of awards in the past few years for best bar, best wings, best bbq, best burgers, best service..... honestly, there are too many to list. The rotating soup of the day is a must try, its made fresh the night before and I have yet to try one I didnt enjoy. Definitely check out the specials board up front for some special plates that only come by every few weeks.
If u haven't been here you're missing out!! I think this is my first time giving a 10/10 review. Great atmosphere, amazing food, those onions ring, max n cheese , Nachos, beer just everything. Good service and clean.
We had sandwiches that were delicious. Beer selection had popular beers on tap. Very friendly and helpful staff. Definitely going back to try their hamburgers.Food: 4/5
Great little American comfort bbq/ tavern. Current Manger Zach, served me and most staff is polite. Low-Key bar / small dinner party atmosphere. Variety of beers local, and there not shy to cross state lines for other good beers. I had a delicious burger but will try the bbq next time. Good job.
A shady experience ordering food. They gave our order to someone only realized after the had finished my salad and tried the wings. Oh and when I say gave, exactly what they did. BTW, who greets guests by saying "You're feeding my kids."Food: 4/5
Looking for a local place to eat that wasn't a burger chain, I found this to be the first decent looking restaurant in the immediate area. I'm glad I stopped because I was very impressed with their awesome menu items, as well as their large selection of beer - they offer specialty, domestic, AND craft. The service was professional and friendly. The atmosphere was casual and filled with families and social groups alike. They have indoor and outdoor seating and some of the inner dining area is allocated to the nicely stocked bar. I had the Chelsea? Melt which was delicious and complimented by gourmet pickles which I love!, and my friend had one of their very generous and juicy burgers. Great atmosphere, food, and price. A definite asset to the area!
