A medium sized furniture and homewares shop set in Brooklyn. It had some very luxurious single seats and sofas, and also many household items (plates, cutlery, lampshades etc). Expensive, but not overly so, it was busy without being packed. There was a coffee shop situated within the shop.. not sure what that was about! The public toilets were heavily in demand. I'm sure if I was looking for something a bit different for the house that I'd find it here.

It's a great store and we got excellent service. The only problem we had with their cafe located inside the store. I often get delicious Hot Chocolate from different locations of Brooklyn Coffee Roasters - Australian quality - which says a lot! However, on Friday, July 7, around 6pm, a male barista made the worst "Hot Chocolate" of my life - it was a cold, overly sweet, milk infused with concentrated chocolate. Someone should teach this barista how to make a foam out of milk and gently mix it with hot chocolate. Now I would be afraid to buy something at this location - it's $5 for nothing!

One of the worst online shopping experiences I've had. Ordered a simple bed frame only to have the arrival date pushed back 4 separate times. Each week they would push back the arrival date another week until, after 6 weeks and a lot of frustrated phone calls, I simply cancelled the order. Meanwhile my mattress is still on the floor. Thanks for nothing, West Elm.

I noticed that this location has more diverse furniture selections on the floor than any other westelm locations in NYC.

Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Decor is great, very inspiring to walk through and see local artists featured in the shop. It's expensive for my budget, I usually look at their sale section in the back. Brooklyn Roasting Company has a small coffee shop in the back as well. Also seating areas to sit in while you enjoy a quick bite (there's usually a local food vendor serving lunch along the kitchen island).
