I own a local Charleston soap making business, Motherland Essentials, and I was given the opportunity to host a workshop at West Elm. I really appreciate the emphasis and opportunities for local small businesses in the store. In addition to working with the store, shopping there is great. The staff is very customer oriented and knowledgeable. The quality and design of many of the pieces in the store are great. Great place to shop!

The worst experience ever. Ordered a sofa back in September and should have been delivered mid December. Contacted them on the due date in December and they said right after Christmas. Contacted them after Christmas and they said mid January. Contacted mid January and they said February. Contacted them and the sofa was to be delivered February 9th. Took off work, no delivery. What a nightmare. Cancelled the order and will NEVER shop here again. I don't recommend this company to anyone.
