I have been with Westan Insurance for a few years now and have never really had to deal with them. But recently I have been shopping around for new insurance and it turns out that they REALLY don't like that in the Union City Branch.

Either way, I found MUCH better insurance and asked to cancel my current policy. More rudeness and difficulty there. Obviously the woman on the phone is upset that I am leaving, but then tells me that I have to come up to the office to fill out a form to cancel.

You don't need to sign anything if you forget to pay?

NOW, I go to call the actual insurance provider, ALFA... Tried to call them, sat on the phone on hold for 20 minutes without ever speaking to a person. Go check out the reviews for them. All one star, no one is ever there to pick up the phone. It's a damn good thing I never needed my insurance. 

$32 and a stop payment later..

I'll never deal with Westan Insurance again. 

Too bad they lost Jake. He was great to deal with.
