We have been on two excursions now, a Christmas one and then one for Valentine's Day. For the Christmas Excursion, we rode the train between the Cumberland and Frostburg Depots. For the Valentine's Day train, we stopped on a bridge and ate dinner over the water. It was very nice and relaxing. There are other trains that are not quite as expensive, so you might want to do your research and pick the one that suits you best. It is really a fun time! Service on the train was excellent and all staff were friendly and accommodating.

I was very underwhelmed. While staff was friendly, the level of communication was poor. The departure was over an hour delayed, which caused issues for making sure the parking meter was fed (there's a lot they recommend using, but the payment kiosk malfunctioned and guests couldn't get out because the arm at the exit was going up). We didn't pay for the added lunch and thank goodness. $30 extra for a chicken wrap? The snack bar was way overpriced and highly inefficient. I would not recommend this place.

Would not even rate this company with 1 star however it wouldn’t allow me to give no stars. might be able to give it some if given the opportunity to go. Our trip started by arriving 10 minutes prior to the train leaving only to find the train gone and the will call place closed and locked up . We drove 3 hours to get there only to drive 3 hours back. Made several calls prior to arriving to see if we could postpone the trip and was told by the staff the train always leaves late not to worry . We have been calling and left repeated messages about transferring the trip to a later date and you never get a live person and no return phone call!!!!! We would not recommend this place the staff is clearly not knowledgeable and the customer service is terrible we paid $430 for this trip and can’t get in touch with anyone to find out about transferring to a later date only because we know there are no refunds .It's very Sad no one can return a phone call! Our children were very much looking forward to this trip...We will be looking into the upper management of this company to ensure that no one else gets ripped off.

Great time had by all! Even picked the "golden egg" and got passes to return! Can't wait to go again!

Great spot to look at our Nation's history and a great spot to watch for Locomotive 1309 a 2-6-6-2 Steam Locomotive due to start unning after being rebuilt
