Today I am giving this store #056 a bad rating I went in there to get just a few things and did not realize that they were closing up at 6 p.m. When I first walked in, you get the greetings Welcome to Ace hardware, while shopping a employee asked me if he can help, I said -No, I already found it then later there were people getting chairs out and setting up in open area. Me minding my own business, the same employee before poked his head around the corner and said to me - Sir, we are closed. I said - Oh, I am sorry I did not know that, all I needed to get was just a couple of more things, then he said - No sir, we are closed and need to leave. I felt like I was not welcome and not politely treated courteously. To me and of my experience with most stores is that whenever a store is closing soon they usually announce that they will be closing. This store did not do this, they were rude in their behavior and need to learn how to treat customers at closing time.

ACE has a surprising selection of items. I also appreciate that there is always someone available to help and to answer your questions. In the summertime, they also have a nice variety of plants.

I love these neighborhood hardware stores. Staff greeted me at the door and immidiately escorted me to similar items as to the ones I requested. Several fellas we're on hand to assist customers. Overall store is clean and we'll stocked with various supplies, staff is polite and helpful. Prices are not the lowest compared to the big box stores however for a quick polite visit it's worth a few cents.

Great selection, knowledgeable employees and reasonable prices. Good and convenient location.
