This is for the OBGYN:  

Great doctors and staff except their genetic/disease gestapo doctor who scares you with chances of downsyndrome, disease, etc,   and is rude - to justify his job.  Guess what, we didnt fall for it and my babys coming out just fine.  Told my wife if this or that happens, your baby could die so test.  Just rude.   especially the time I didnt show up he was RUDE.

but I ran into some Deceptive insurance practices
Let me explain something, I am a commercial insurance employee, i know how things work.

Westmed collected my wife's primary and my insurance as backup.  Her primary was a full coverage, I have the backup spending acct.   They waited until THIRTY SIX weeks in to tell her they didnt take her primary insurance.

THIRTY SIX weeks.  As in 3 or 4 weeks from giving birth.  At that point, 36 weeks, doctors almost NEVER take a new patient.  SO youre roped in with them.  It is terrible.

Then we want records, and you have to drive to Purchase, NY to get them?  It's insanity.  Of course, doctor and billing are NEVER connected.

They played a lot of games, and with a pregnant woman a few weeks from delivery, what they did renders anything else they did well to mean nothing - they did something that is unacceptable.

ANXIETY, ANXIETY, ANXIETY!!! This is the type of medical service you will receive from Westmed Medical Group at 3030 Westchester Avenue in Purchase, NY. When you call them their call center is in North Carolina, you give them all your personal information only to be verified again and again!!! They promised to call me back for an earlier appointment and they never did and I had to call them and then they promised again that they were going to call me back and they NEVER DID!!! I would like to know why the directors of patient services are not following up on the incoming calls so that they can experience the worse of the worse service.

Everytime I've gone whether it be to Dr. Suzman or the Pediatrics practice for my son it has been amazing. Heather and Ruby in Dr. Suzman's office are wonderful as is the doctor himself. Drs. Cohen, Bomback, Schweitzer, Longobardi, Kenamore and Rodgers are the best pediatricians you could ever ask for and their staff and nurses are always attentive and caring.

It's a very nice building, easy to navigate . Everyone was very helpful and a good experience.

I was refused medical attentions. The nurse refused to get the doctor on call. I have insurance as well as paid my co-pay and I was never seen. I would never in my life go back I have never in my life been treated this way.
