I've only been here for the Friday Jazz Nights, so I can't speak to the services or other community events. For $5, this is one of the best jazz deals in town. The program lasts for 3 hours with 2 intermissions between sets. The crowd tends to skew mostly older and there is definitely a sense of community among some of the attendees, but, as an outsider, I've been allowed to keep entirely to myself for the entirety of the program. The acoustics aren't awesome and the seating is non-folding auditorium style seating (with some benches somewhat perpendicular to the rest of the seating), but the music that I've heard here has been very good. Food is served downstairs and people will bring food up to eat during the performance. Air-conditioning has been fine when I've visited. There's a parking lot, several bike racks, and, of course, the nearby Metro to facilitate visiting.

We love these people and community! After living on the other side of the world, we still come home to Westminster.
