Our dog had an accident and my wife had to rush him to this vet on a Saturday. After their return my wife raved about the professionalism and how polite everyone was. We are a military family that has moved a lot over 20 years and used numerous vets around the nation. My wife said they were hands down one of the best she's ever experienced. Thanks Team Westside for taking great care of our Gunner! The Phillips Family

Do not waste your time or money here. I brought my dog in after he was attacked at a near by dog park. The vet did not touch my dog one time, but said it would cost $1400+ to get his wound cleaned up because she would have to put him under. But at the same time, she said it didn't look very serious. I do not know if it's common to put a dog under for a non serious injury, but it does seem odd. It also seems odd for her to make such an assessment after 2-3 minutes and not actually examining him. My dog is 14 and she did not want to do that, which I understand. However the only other option I was offered was to pay almost $60 for 2 days worth of medicine and to follow up with my normal vet. She gave me a whole speech about protecting the clinic from any liability. Clearly that is what they care about at this place. CYA must be their motto. Mind you I had to pay $85 and wait almost 2 hours for my dog to be seen, and the vet did not lay one hand on my dog. So 2 hours and $85 later, my dog left the exact same way he came in. Blood on the back of his head on all. They couldn't even clean to blood away to look at the wound. She said if he came in with a gaping wound, she could help. I would not recommend this place to anyone. This is supposed to be an emergency vet, but like I was told, just go to your regular vet. If your regular vet is closed like mine was you will just be screwed.

i brought my dog here and they charged me over 300 bucks to watch her die they gave her a iv and thats it all they care about is money dont take your animal here

Great Service. Loving Caring People who know what they are doing working with our pets and ourselves. Unfortunately I have been there 3x. Each time I have been pleased. Dr Barnes is such a happy person and keeps the situation up beat. The price is expensive but it is after hours and fortunately we can take our sweet pets somewhere immediately when an emergency.
