Westwind Farms is located six miles northwest of the Dulles International Airport, in Ashburn, Virginia, a suburb of Washington DC. Westwind is less than a half mile west of the Dulles Greenway Toll Road, three miles east of Brambleton Regional Park's golf course and recreational facilities, and six miles southwest of the Dulles Town Center Mall. This community's one, two and three bedroom apartment homes feature the perfect mix of traditional style and contemporary design, with nine-foot ceilings, crown molding, soaking tub, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and full-size washer and dryer. Love this place! Moved here from the Richmond area in November, between price shopping the nova area and managing my 2.5 year old and travel I was so pleased with my choice! Not only did they help me select a unit that best suited my Tiny family, the cost competitive to other places was unmatchable. Per sq ft I was able to get the best deal price wise, and have remained happy after moving in. Moving here I was sad to give up my house and downsize but the amenities they offer makes up for it tremendously. My son enjoys the park and we just recently started using the propane grills to cook out. Everything is spaced out nicely and the layout is perfect for strolls with my family. Additionally the offer the COOLEST things, just last month there was a free paint and wine night at the clubhouse! They also put together bags for Valentine’s Day with goodies we could sign up to pick up! It was a perfect added treat for my kiddo. They are really invested in it not just being a leasing job. I signed a 14 month lease and unless I am buying after that (one can dream) I will definitely resign here! 10/10 highly recommend.

I find it hard to believe I live in the same apartment complex as all these terrible reviews. We did not opt for one of the newly renovated apartments, that being said, yes we have older appliances that sometimes break down. I have never had an issue having maintenance come out for a repair. Repairs are scheduled for how critical and then on a first come first serve basis. It has never taken more then a week to have someone out. 

This is definitely a community with many families, so of course their are kids riding bikes and running around. For the most part I do not have an issue with them. The kids are part of the appeal to the complex for me, we are first time parents and it is nice to see a safe neighbor hood where kids still play outside!

We live on a third floor, we never hear our neighbors or have a problem with them. The trash valet would be my only real complaint, they take our trash but they drag the bags and sometimes they catch the nails so our breezeway has leaks from trash that make it appear pretty grungy. 

Over all I would recommend to any of my friends and family to live here. It is a beautiful apartment complex, and we have enjoyed our time here. We will be renewing our lease for our 4th year this summer.

From first time renter. Live some where else! I just moved out and am happy for doing so. This place needs zero stars. This community has perks in which I love living in Ashburn, but I wouldn't recommend this property to anybody who was even remotely wanting to stay in the area... please find all reviews of what others say seriously because they aren't lying when they say this place needs huge overhaul in change!. They charge close to 90$ (which is mandatory) for internet and trash removal service and I ended up removing my trash almost 80% of my stay period. Place is full of dog poop and management doesn't even care to either enforce or clean up. Maintenance requests need multiple calls and are sometimes closed without even contacting, otherwise apartments are well kept (not luxurious but not bad either).

Zero stars. DONT MOVE HERE. Worst service experience ever. Nobody will show up for maintenance requests. They have mandatory 50 dollar Comcast basic TV package. What a BS! I am pretty sure somebody will login from apartment and leave a response to my review just like they did it for previous reviews. All the one star reviews are true with my experience. I’m planning to seek out legal opinions to break my lease

This place is managed poorly and only cares about making profit.  The apartments are spacious but poorly insulated and built.  There wasn't a day where I did not hear my neighbor walking or their dogs.  Besides level of noise, it was very expensive to heat and cool the apartment.  The HVAC was efficient at all and it took long time to heat or cool the apartment.  The apartment also charges extra fees like valet trash pick up, trash removal, cable, sewer, and other fees.  
The management has very poor communication skills.  The property manager, Kathleen Grey never responds to emails or calls.  I don't if this person works on site or is some imaginary person.  I was repeatedly sent email asking for the same thing over and over when the document was submitted or it was still current.  I regret moving into this apartment complex.
