We rented a double surrey for an hour and it cost $35. We were able to fit three adults and six children ranging in age from two to 12. We made several loops and still had time to spare before returning it a few minutes early. What a workout!

The terrain is not flat but the energy from the children enjoying the ride seemed to pass on to those of us doing all the work pedaling. If you haven't experienced a surrey, I'd suggest doing so. The kids had such a great time. We were with a special needs child and he loved it so much. The way his face lit up as we were all riding along is priceless.

The people who assisted us were very helpful and the facility provides helmets, which are required for all children, at no extra charge. Although this place also rents boats and bicycles, I'm looking forward to renting a surrey again!

We rented a peddle boat on a hot day and let the kids blow some steam off peddling around the little islands. Take snacks and drinks on your peddle boat. Plus a camera.
