I can't say enough good things about Chainline Bikes.  They are so much more than just a bike shop.  They're a Mountain Bike Consulting group as well as a bike shop.  You tell them how you ride and how you want to ride and they will dial in a bike just for you.  No hard sells on the most expensive bike offered, but a genuine appraisal of what will give you the most joy on the trail.  They cater to all levels of rider, from pro to beginner, and they want everyone to enjoy mountain biking as much as they do.

Chainline has been my go to bike shop for over a year now. The crew there is friendly, knowledgable, and great to talk to. Their prices are competitive, they know how to build a great bike, and their service is top notch. They have also helped me work through multiple warranties on my bike, as well was figure out random problems my bike has. I would recommend Chainline to anyone looking for a great local bike shop.

I've been a customer of Chainline since not long after they opened and it's been really cool to watch the shop grow into being a staple in the San Diego (and SoCal) mountain biking community. What you get when you shop at Chainline is great service, excellent product, and a personalized and friendly experience ... all at very, very reasonable price. This local, family-owned business is thriving because they value their customers. Not to mention they are mountain bikers themselves!

This is the best bike shop I've ever been too. The owner, Jason, hooked me up with everything I needed to have the best session of my life while in California. He also went out of his way to find me the sickest DH bike I've ever owned. Dudes a hero among men. If you are in to DH/free riding, this is the shop.

100% perfect service, 100% of the time.  Jason & his staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and approachable.  The prices are fair for both parts and service, and the service is very competent.  When I take my bike in for service, I know it will be serviced right the first time.  Chainline is a shop I feel great about supporting.
