Good campground but a little expensive - but everywhere in Deadwood seeks to separate you from your money. September cost is $45 for motorhome full hookup. Staff are friendly. Bathrooms and showers are clean with plenty of hot water. Clean, well maintained camp sites. WIFI is weak, comes and goes, but that seems to be par for most campgrounds.

I give this site 2 stars. Site is usable, fire pits with grates was awesome but the showers and toilets are disgusting. Seriously if you have a usable shower in your RV then use it. Pool is only 3'8" deep and water was nasty. Better then KOA, but don't expect much more here.

I have stayed here several times and always enjoy my stay. The sites are close together, but it's to be expected... the campground runs up a steep valley. Lots to see, and you're just a short trolley ride to the main drag. Bathrooms/showers and campground has been clean every time I've been there.

The facilities are great! The ONE "in your face micromanaging staff" leaves something to be desired. The man in the maroon pickup, claiming to be the owner and play with a chain saw IS actually a raving lunatic. P.S. The road through your camp ground is NOT a "highway".

I do not enjoy making negative comments regarding camping grounds, but I have to say that I would not recommend Whistler Gulch RV Park in Deadwood to anyone. AAA manual rates it a score of 28 points out of 30. It deserves at best 19 our 20 points. Washroom facilities are a mess, avoid using it if you have your own showers. In July 2016 for 4 nites, we witness noisy motocyles riding in and out. The only positive comments is the fact that it is located in the town of Deadwood and a trolley picks you up every half hour of the day for a small fee of 1 dollar per person. We were parked in front of the dump container which did not help matters. Roger Lange 30 july 2017 Ottawa Ontario, Canada
