I was very pleased with our camping trip here. We chose one of the walk-in tent sites as to have a more isolated, woodsy feel. Of the cluster of the walk-in sites that we were at, we were the only campers, so we enjoyed quiet isolation. If you chose one of these sites, do know that it's a 50 to 60 yard walk to get to the back sites (like site 59), so a wagon is helpful to tote your gear and cooler in. There are several nice little playgrounds for the kids. We hope to get back here to fish and hike soon!

Highly recommend this camp site. If you have a big group, rent an entire ring. Bathrooms are kept clean, showers are a gem and most sites are spacious, choice of shaded ot sunny and semi private. My only complaint is with (summer) staffing not knowing the ins and outs. I was charged for parking even though it was already paid for. I got it back but it took 2 conversations with 1 guy, 1 with a chick, and finally by Sunday a visit from a manager after the icing on the cake, an ordinance ticket. The ticket was cleared, the manager refunded but annoying all around.

Camped here for a girls weekend. Stayed at one of the walk in sites at peak season and it was nice and close to the bathrooms. We were the only ones at the walk in, otherwise it would have been quite crowded with the proximity of the sites. Mosquitos were not bad either!
