Food was great!  So so good. The staff and hospitality were incredible. They took care of us so well, i would absoulety recommend them. Make sure you have the jumbo wings for a starter, amazing. Perfect night out x

I took my wife to the Whiteowl for our anniversary dinner. We heard the ads on the local radio and looked forward to eating there. Unfortunately, I was not impressed at all.
My wife had shrimp scampi and was satisfied with her meal. I had steamed clams as an appetizer and rib eye for dinner.
The clams were advertised as one pound of steamers and yes I realize that includes the shells. However if I weighed the clams I ate, I would venture a guess that 3 ounces would be a lot.
Now the Whiteowl calls itself  steakhouse so I was looking forward to the rib eye. Another mistake. I asked for medium rare and received medium maybe even medium well. Furthermore, it was tough. I can't recall ever having a tough ribeye??? VERY POOR showing for an alleged steakhouse.
Then I get the bill. I was drinking Rum and Diet Coke. $7.00 each. Outrageous for a place " in the middle of nowhere". I can eat in much better places in the Hawley area where I live and not pay more than $5.00. Overpriced . Total bill with tip $100. Not worth it.
Cam provided great service. That was the only highlight of the meal.

Came for an impromptu dinner while visiting family in the area. We enjoyed a nice meal with great service. Took a star for noise from the bar and another for basic items like butter on the for baked potatoes.
